I purchased a package of these fig cookies for my son who has Celiac Disease since they say "Gluten free" on the package, which led me to believe that it had no Gluten. As a result, I didn't read what came after the ingredients portion as I saw no need. I was shocked that he started suffering a reaction from attempting to eat one of the fig cookies. The labeling on this packaging is very irresponsible and needs to be removed since it is easily misleading. The "Gluten Free" labeling can have a dis-arming effect on people who read it. These figs do ,in fact, contain gluten. Even if it is due to contamination from other processes. I admit to the fact that I made the mistake of not reading through the whole package to ensure my sons safety before allowing him to consume this product. However, that does not absolve the company's responsibility in the dangerous and dishonest means they engaged in to misrepresent the contents of the product by labeling it as Gluten Free. Remove that dishonest claim from the package. Never suggest, claim, or infer a product to be what it isn't. Especially if those statements can lead to a severe illness.
Wonderful surprise, tastes healthier than other store bought items, absolutely delicious. Love to have one with my morning coffee - perfection.

The gluten free food says it's made on equipment with wheat?! This will be my last order.
