These cookies were very overbaked and dry. No longer light yellow, but are now brown. Couldn't even taste the lemon.I always loved these shortbread cookies and bought them by the case. But will never buy again if this is the new recipe.

Not the Pamelas you expect

The lemon shortbread cookies used to be my absolute favorite gf cookie. They were tender and deliciously lemony. Good enough to serve company, even if they were not gf. Just opened a new box and these should not even be called lemon shortbread. They are packaged loose in a bag inside the familiar box and are a broken and crumbly mess. The cookie texture is hard and tasteless. Never buying again. Will also complain to my local stores that carry Pamelas cookies.

The lemon flavor is strong enough and these buttery cookies practically melt in the mouth. I would be willing to bet if you put them up against anyone else's Lemon Shortbreads even ones with gluten, these would beat them in a taste & texture test.

Best lemon cookies we have ever had!

These lemon cookies are the best we have ever had. Their added bonus is being gluten free. I avoid gluten as I an sensitive to it.
I am so glad to be able to order them directly from Pamela's as the local grocery store is no longer selling them. We have shared these delicious treats many friends. They are so amazed that they are GF.

I ordered a case of the lemon shortbread cookies and 3 single boxes of the chocolate chunk. They all were amazing! However, the chocolate were all broken up into crumbs, all 3 boxes. I will be ordering more lemon, we absolutely love them.

Intense lemon taste

I'm not a big fan of these cookies due to the intensity of the lemon profile, which dominates your taste buds, more subtle balanced lemon flavor would make a better tasting cookie.

I love these cookies! Eaten alone I give them 4 stars, but they are 5-star perfection when used to make ricotta blueberry parfaits which balances out the strong/bright lemon flavor of the cookie. I mix a small spoon of powdered sugar and a quarter teaspoon vanilla into around 1 cup ricotta cheese, add fresh blueberries, and crumble the cookie over the top. This is one of my favorite summer desserts!

Best tasting gluten free cookie, reliably gluten-free, and this is the best place to buy them. I bought 24 boxes over a period of a year, and with only a few exceptions, all the cookies arrived whole. Price is reasonable and they ship fast.

i love these! i have to really be careful because i could easily eat the entire pack.

I was introduced to these cookies at the local health shop I work at. I decided to give them a try. Once I opened the box I couldn’t stop eating them. I would grab a box almost every few days. Unfortunately we couldn’t get them from our distributor anymore. One day I had a hankering for these cookies and decided to buy them online. I ordered 3 boxes. Upon consuming the first box, I was in heaven. These cookies are so delightful! The best taste with amazing texture in my opinion. Soft, tangy and satisfying. I never feel guilty eating these. If you love shortbread and lots of lemon, these cookies are to die for!
