My mom used to make those when I was a kid and I now make them for my kids. It's my daughter's favorite - she does have a lot of favorites. In French, it's called "Carrsqrt(C) au Chocolat" so we can call them Chocolate Squares or Chocolate in between whatever you prefer. I used Pamela's All-Purpose Flour to make them.
