I bought these thinking they are my answer to a gluten, chocolate free cookie, unfortunately they are not. The texture is great, the pecans are tasty but the cookie itself is too sweet and leaves a weird aftertaste for me. After giving them 3 tries on 3 different occasions with the same result I couldn’t bring myself to try another one so the remainder went in the trash.
Pamela, please modify the recipe with less sugar, you’ll save money in the process.
4 grams of sugar per cookie is a teaspoon of sugar in each cookie, that’s excessive.
