- 1.5 cups Pamela's Gluten Free all-purpose flour
- 1 Cup packed brown sugar
- ¾ Cup butter chilled and cut in 8 pieces
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 Cup Quick Oats uncooked
- 1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 6oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Yield: 16 squares
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Position ’knife place’ in the processor bowl and add brown sugar, butter, and salt.
Process to mix for about 15 seconds. The mixture will be lumpy.
Stop if the mixture begins to form a ball. Add flour and oats to the mixture. Pulse to crumble, 2 to 3 times. Stir down the mixture. Repeat pulsing until the mixture is crumbly.
Grease a 13x9 inch pan and press about 2/3 mixture (2 ½ cups) into the bottom. Leave remaining 1/3 mixture in bowl.
In a 2-quart saucepan, combine condensed milk and chocolate chips. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until chips melt. (Be careful not to let chocolate burn.) Pour over crust in pan. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Bake until lightly browned, 25 to 30 minutes. When cool cut into 2-inch squares.
