Great recipe, moist, great flavor, and not too sweet. I did make a frosting and put it on top.

I used raspberry pie filling rather than pumpkin. Stuck with ground walnuts. Instead of pumpkin pie spice, used a combination of Cinnamon, Mace, and Nutmeg. Had to use slightly more mix, since we are in the mountains.

UPDATE: I made this substituting the sugar for xylitol and it was still great. (I still think chocolate chips would be good). Just started weight watchers and that substitute reduced the "points" from 15 to 10. I am going to try replacing the butter next with applesauce, which will reduce the "points" down to 6. I will keep you posted.

I agree with Kevin's comments. It is GREAT, though a few chocolate chips wouldn't go amiss. My husband is GF but I am not and we both love it.

This pumpkin coffee cake is absolutely amazing! I've made it 3 times in the last couple weeks. Everyone at church enjoys it whether they need to eat gluten free or not; they can't tell the difference. I wouldn't change a thing with the recipe.
