I first used this years ago when I was first diagnosed with Celiac Sprue.
I loved it then and I love it now. Absolutely the best on the market.
I make a blueberry/strawberry compote for topping.
Love her products.
Thank you

you stoll have to use an egg to make these pancakes, so it is not vegan.... a disappointment

Pamelas Customer Service 06/162/2017 06/12/2017Hello Jean, The mix itself is vegan and you could use an egg replacer to make the finished pancakes vegan.Reply

Hi! I can't seem to find the alternate recipe on the bag anymore that has no egg. Flax seed was used instead. Could you help please?

Pamelas Customer Service 03/72/2017 03/14/2017Hi Debbie, We did not have an egg-free recipe on this bag before. You can use flax seed as an egg replacer. Here is a great resource that explains how: http://www.veganbaking.net/recipes/egg-replacers/flax-seed-egg-replacer.Reply

Theresa Springer 02/55/2017 02/25/2017Amazon carries it, that is where I buy mine. You can get it in a single 4 lb package or the set of 3- 4 lb packages that I buy.Reply

Wow! I was worried because SO many dairy free/ gluten-free products just aren't that great. Something about the dairy, makes stuff fluffier. But Pamela!! You truly are the master!! I actually liked these better than the original mix. I always add vanilla and cinnamon to my mix and I am fine with eggs. These pancakes were super thick and delicous. I can't wait to experiment more with it. Thank you fo

This is so good. I have been experimenting. My new favorite is adding a bit of pumpkin, a few spices, pecans, and chocolate chips. HOORAY!

Hi, I am confused by "For water, use 3/4 cup soy, rice, almond or coconut milk." Does that mean imstead of using water, to use those milk substitutes instead? If I am using an egg replacement, only use 1/2 cup of the water replacements?????

Pamelas Customer Service 05/147/2015 05/28/2015Hi Danielle - For the liquid, you may use: 3/4 cup water - or - 3/4 cup soy milk - or - 3/4 cup rice milk - or - 3/4 cup almond milk - or - 3/4 cup coconut milk. If you are using an egg replacer, reduce the amount of the above liquid by 1/4 cup, using only 1/2 cup of liquid, plus the egg replacer. I hope this helps. Denise, Customer ServiceReply

My whole family LOVED this new mix.
Some of us have egg/dairy/gluten sensitivities, but others do not, and everyone loved the new mix. I also love that there is no Xanthan Gum. We replaced the egg with 1/4 cup of applesauce, and it worked great. Our only problem is that we are having trouble finding the mix now! Our Whole Foods tried to order it, but the warehouse had none- they could only get us the version with dairy. Hoping Amazon will carry it soon! Thanks for the wonderful product! Seriously life changing for us on busy school mornings!

I ditto everything Diane said above, but NOT about this new dairy-free mix -- only about your original GF mix! (Though I do use egg, and add mini-choc chips & blueberries, and the pancakes are AMAZING, have always been a huge winner for years.) Last time I was at Whole Foods there was only this bag, so I didn't think much of it, thought it was a design change. I hate to put it this way... and I almost never post online reviews... but UGH!!!! I had my boyfriend's grand-kids (age 7 and 8) over fo
eakfast-as-dinner tonight, planning to delight them w/ my famous choc. chip pancakes, but alas, it was not to be. These are just... not the same, nowhere close. They take FOREVER to cook and their texture is simply not pancake-like.
PLEASE make it more clear that this is a completely DIFFERENT mix, so others don't get confused and botch an entire meal!!
Thanks,
Marcy

Pamelas Customer Service 01/07/2015 01/08/2015Hi Marcy – Pamela created the Pancake & Waffle non-Dairy mix to meet the demands of the increasing number of folks who cannot have dairy. It is a completely different blend with different tastes & textures. It is also a completely different color package, different pancake drawing and a different name which specifies non-Dairy on the front of the bag. I will forward your comments to Pamela. Denise, Customer ServiceReply
