This fun twist to our Chocolate Chunk Cookies was provided by @memorieswiththemulkeys_
- Note: I follow the recipe on the bag
- 1 bag Pamela’s Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
- ½ cup of butter or butter alternative
- 1 egg (large) or egg replacer
Using a heavy duty stand mixer: preheat the oven to 350degrees. Soften the butter in mixing bowl. Add dry mix and the egg. Mix for a full minute or until the dough is fully incorporated.
Add 1 to 2 tsp of water if dough appears dry or crumbly. Grease the iron skillet and dump the mixture in it. Spread it evenly. If you have smaller iron skillets, you can divide the content into two. It will take less time to cook. Cooking time will depend on the size of your skillet which may vary between 20 and 35 minutes. You should start keeping an eye on it after 20 minutes and use a toothpick to make sure the center is fully cooked.
Serve right away with ice cream, whipped cream, fruits, or your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
