Ah, the month of March. It's the green month, full of green clovers and even green beer. I can't think green without thinking Irish, of which I am a wee bit on my mother's side. A pot pie always comes to mind and now with the brew pub trend happening in my neighborhood, cooking with beer or ale is also on the rise. There is a deeper and richer note when adding beer to a recipe. I've read about cooking chicken with a can of beer inside, baking bread with beer, making stew with beer, so why not add it to the filling of a savory meat pie or even a chocolate cake? There are many gluten-free beers on the market now, so you too can indulge in this tradition. Try our new gluten-free beer-infused recipes, or use my flaky, buttery pie crust recipe or croissant recipe to top a ramekin of your own meat pot pie filling. It's a fast and easy way to do it! Whatever your fancy…. Happy March to ye all!

Trivia It is Pamela's 30th year in business, and we will be celebrating all year! Each month we will be asking a question in our newsletter about Pamela's history or her products. This month's question is: What is the most popular cookie Pamela has ever made (and is still available today)? Must have correct name of the cookie to win!
The answer to last month's question was: French Bread (Which one of the following products was never part of the Pamela's product line? Cheesecake, Biscotti, French Bread, Coffee Cake, or Shortbread Swirl Cookies?) Congratulations to Charles Z. for getting the correct answer and winning the prize.
Irish Inspiration
St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner! If you are gluten-free, you can't drink Guinness, but you can use GF beer in our two new boozy recipes: Steak & Ale Pie and Chocolate Stout Cake (frosted to look like beer foam on top!). Sláinte!

If beer isn't your thing, maybe green is… get a little creative in the kitchen with bright green treats, like Shamrock Sugar Cookies, Crème de Menthe Brownies, or Simple Vanilla Cupcakes with Green Fluff Frosting. Tip from Pamela
Quick Tip! Swap butter out for coconut oil the next time you prep your griddle. Coconut oil gives pancakes a slightly sweet, crispy crust.
What Fans are Saying About our
Biscuit & Scone Mix

"I was extremely happy with the biscuits that came out. I had ordered a couple of bags and cooked them all so I had leftovers and they were awesome the following days. I am not a gluten-free person, but really loved these biscuits! Buy them!" – Pablo F.

"Love these. I really missed biscuits. This has filled the place of wheat biscuits with a Gluten-Free alternative." – M. Bell

"An actual hit with the whole family. I'm not a 'gluten-free' type of guy, but since my wife is doing it I've tried to help out and this was a pleasant surprise for all. It actually made tasty biscuits that were great with butter and/or a little honey. I would definitely get these again." – A.C.

"I have used the pancake mix for years and just tried this mix. It is delicious! I used Almond Milk and made the spoon type biscuits, but I can see how this would be delicious as a crust for a pie (pudding type) and so many other things. The taste is satisfying and makes me want to eat too much. Worth the $!" – BlueHoney
