Summertime is here and the temperature is hitting the 80's and 90's where I live in northern California. At my local farmer's market, the aroma of the sun-ripened fruit wafts through the warm air. The sweet strawberries and blueberries are the perfect color combination with my delicate Angel Food Cake to celebrate our country's birthday. Because I'm never ultimately happy unless a dessert is completely decadent, I add my Heavenly Frosting. Sun-sweetened berries on a cloud of simple white cake with fluffy frosting what could be better for the 4th of July or any summer celebration!
