Bring on the Holiday Cheer!
Pamela and her team are busy with holiday activities and celebrations this month. Our generous "Queen of Gluten-Free" is busy planning a Holiday Party for her nearly 80 employees. And let me tell you, a party with Pamela is always a great time! I will be sure to share some photos with you all in next month's issue.

We know for many, this is a very special time of year – and a very busy time of year. Particularly with parties to host and attend, shopping to be done and menu planning to ensure safe and delicious holiday fare. In this holiday newsletter, we have new recipes to share with you and some other tips for decorating, green gift wrapping, and more. Hopefully, we can help reduce the stress of the season with some of the information we have provided here.

Holiday Help: Table Settings, Recycling Cards, Eco-Wrap, and Perfect Photos
Preparing for the holidays comes with an extensive to-do list. There are meals to plan and prep, presents to shop for and wrap, and decorations to put up - just to name a few! Well, we decided to do some scouring on the web to find some tips that we thought might help us all out with the holiday planning. Here is what we came up with:
  • Pamela and the team are always focused on sustainability. Our plant is committed to recycling, composting where possible, managing water, electrical and gas usage, and more. So, naturally we thought we might find a way to be more eco-friendly with our gift-giving and avoid all the excess waste of wrapping paper and gift accessories. We found some great ideas on Oprah's website for environmentally-friendly wrap.

  • Cut off the decorative cover of your card and save the designs to use in arts and craft projects. We found some fun crafty ideas for holiday ornaments, gift bags, and more at Martha Stewart website.

  • Photos are a great way to capture the memories, particularly at special times throughout the year. But if you are like me, I have every intention of a great photo, and I am always disappointed with the final results. We found some great tips for lighting, photographing children and ideas to create memorable photo moments in this article in the Chicago Daily Herald. (And, I want to make sure I take some great photos to share with you at this year’s holiday party with Pamela using these tips!)

  • I promise I am not including this link to make us all feel inadequate. I feel accomplished if I can get dinner on the table at a reasonable time, let alone have a festive place setting. But, we all loved some of the ideas in this photographic montage of beautiful table setting ideas.
