Earth Day
Celebrate the Earth
Did you know that April 22 is Earth Day? How will you be celebrating and doing your part to protect the environment? At Pamela's, we are committed to sustainable business practices. We use recyclable plastic trays, recycled cardboard, and soy inks. Our manufacturing facility is a zero-waste plant where overruns of product are donated to the food bank, and food waste is sold to pig farmers. Pamela looks to source locally when possible, not only to support our community, but to reduce the numbers of trucks and travel time on the road. These are only a few of the many efforts made here at Pamela's, and we are constantly looking at ways to improve as we grow our business.

There are lots of things each of us can do every day to take care of our earth, and no effort is ever too small. We found this Earth Day Take Home Kit on the Environmental Protection Agency website. It is a nice resource for learning more about the environment, tips to stay healthy, and other ways you can go green on Earth Day and every day.
